    Hi!

I plugged "HDPE boat construction rules Romania" into Google and found tentative rules out of Turkey, which while not applicable to Romania may better help you know what to expect.

    http://turkloydu.org/pdf-files/turk...r/tentative-rules-for-polyethylene-crafts.pdf

There was also a "DNV Standard for Certification": https://exchange.dnv.com/publishing/StdCert/2010-04/Standard2-21.pdf which may again help you know what to expect.

There was this actually related to Romania, http://www.sprintsicilia.eu/editor/... Paese/Romania/Romanian Plastics Industry.pdf , but that seems to be about the regulation of the plastlcs industry rather than boat building (it's 52 pages long so I can only say "seems"). Still, according to Google's blurb "Romanian commercial products will adopt Europen rules" (a quote from somewhere in the 52 pages) which suggest that your government may be choosing to save money here and there by letting someone else pay to come up with at least some rules or else is doing so because of export concerns, or both (saving money is good, making money is best ... both concepts seem to be utterly unknown to the US Congress). Of course that says little if they are doing the same with rules for boat construction.

    Hi!
Thank you very much for your help. Meanwhile I have found the Turkloydu document, but DNV is also useful. I need mostly EU Rules, not related especially to Romania because I know they do not exist.
I'd rather follow my target than to keep the evidence of the goverment. They spend most of the time increasing the taxes...

You can also go with ISO 12215-5 using flexural strength (usually 15-40 MPa) depending on which PE. Buckling is the issue which shall be taken care of by for example comparing torsoinal rigidity of PE to other materials ISO 12215 includes. Every Notified bodies have some sort of rule or direct method to deal with PE structure scantlings.

BV technical note starts with this:

The hull drawings have been reviewed on the basis of the applicable requirements of our rules for the classification NR600 DT R00 as amended in the scope of the general conditions of the marine branch. For reason of absence of rules context, all non-represented arrangements and details on drawings concerning hull have not been reviewed

Thank you Mr Tideman, but it says , Hull Structure and Arrangement for the Classification of Cargo Ships less than 65 m and Non Cargo Ships less than 90 m. Nothing much on the HDPE ? Its BV NR600 right?
