This is a leak that sprung at the deck mounted mast step. Turn your computer to make the leak vertical, and that is how much my boat was heeling. I had a tiny storm jib and four reefs down.

    Hi Manie B
I'm coming very late to this thread. I just created an account for the sole, at least initially, purpose of seeing what is happening with micro-cruisers. Please keep in mind that I'm not yet a sailor however the concept of having, possibly building a coastal micro-cruiser is very enticing. I've build a few types of watercraft using several methods so for.

With my retirement on the horizon (1-2yrs) I have time to learn to sail and to build a boat. I may build something like a PDRacer now to help with learning to sail but then a micro-cruiser seems like a logical step for someone who likes to build things.
The thread started back in 2006 so I'm curious to know what micro cruiser build you'd suggest now.

    thanks
    Steve
