Does anyone make fly by wire (for want of a better term) controls for not only throttle but also gearshift for smaller outboards, say 9.9hp to 25hp ? I did a little searching and all the talk is about bigger motors. I know there are very reasonable priced aftermarket controls for throttle only like Trollmaster but I'm not finding anything with gearshift control.

The controls can run any size engine. However, they cost too much to make it worth installing in a small engine.

Thanks guys, I do remember now having seen that Seastar unit advertised a few years ago, I will look into what it costs through work, I know we have installed Seastar hydraulic steering in the past. I agree Gonzo, probably spendy for a small motor but it would sure open up installation options for retractable outboards on sailing cats or twin outboards on a folding powercat design.

I can see the advantages on a sailing cat. I was thinking of a smaller skiff or dinghy.
