Keels are Falling Off

    I understand and agree, my proposition is just to highlight on the kind of quantitative relationship between boat speed and deceleration factor using for scantling purpose. Further thoughts : in my approach, within same assumptions , I think I have to add a rotation inertia term - I Téta°°, which should lead to a greater rotation angle and a bit less deceleration.

    ... with the revised set of equations inc. the rotation inertia term, if I am not wrong ;) ...
