Last night the Belgian artist collective Captain Boomer has put a 17 m (56') plastic (GRP ?) sperm whale on a beach of the Zingst peninsula in Germany, the German authorities were not amused, like one couldn't bring one's own beach toys there . .

The ‘‘scientists’’ in the white suits are actors of the artist collective, the same happened in 2008 in the Netherlands on the beach of Scheveningen . .

The German real news about the fake sperm whale is hot off the press, so the bottom two pictures come from a same kind of event on the banks of the Vistula river in Warsaw, Poland in 2017.

In the below video they're cutting up a nearly 17 m (56') rorqual which was already dead before beaching in 2014 in Katwijk aan Zee (Katwijk-upon-Sea) in the Netherlands, and while they were doing so, a fresh just died young harbour porpoise washed up on the same spot . .

This was shocking real ocean news to me, seals raping penguins on Marion Island, the BBC has awful footage of multiple cases . . .

An afterwards picture is bad enough, the deed pics and vids and the story via the links, some got be eaten afterwards . .

 

They obviously forgot to duplicate the righting anchors.
