Has anybody ever tried to mate a transmission to a jetski motor for an inboard application? There are tons of old gentleman runabout plans out there but todays engines are just too heavy. Any thoughts?

Not familar with your specific motor/trans combo, but, you could probably build your own "bell housing".

After mounting a Flex plate with female spline to your Flywheel, mount a 1/4 - 3/8 thk alum plate to the engine (with large clearance hole for damper) Using Alum spacers mount the transmission to the plate, with transmission shaft engaging flexplate.

    Hope this helps ----- Jango
