"Because it has lined up and raced other similar sized and much larger designs and beaten them."

WHAT similar sized yachts - with T-Foils. ?

Have you got any race results ?

The ONLY true test is to have another of the SAME class with a say, Bermuda rig, and have series of races.

    You're getting pedantically boring RWatson.
Can you imagine other double wing masted 18 foot designs with foils lining up with this boat?
No, because this is probably the only one in Auckland (more like New Zealand) with this rig configuration.
However if I competed with the Australian/New Zealand 18s (do you know these craft?) they would easily beat me. Because they are lightweight, very expensive skiffs with extreme rigs and racks and with 3 crew on trapezes.
My boat originally was designed (without inverted T foils) for an aging enthusiast who wanted to sail fast with one crew and without the pain and effort and required skills of handling a high end 18 for example. But he still wanted a quick boat, proportionately speaking, and one that could easily beat a Lazer for example - and that is what he got.
