Geothermal Cooling: Use the Earth for Home Comfort http://digtheheat.com/geothermal_heatpumps/geothermal_cooling.html

That is fine the earth warming as you go, but we are not talking about the temperature profile of the earth. We are talking about the temperature profile of #1, the atmosphere above the earth in a very warm climate, and #2, the ocean above the earth which is cooler as you get nearer the bottom (generally), and that bottom is right next to the earth. And then, we are talking about their respective differences; not one compared to itself.

And, no, I don't have the Engineer's Pocket Reference to Kuwaiti Subsurface Temperatures on hand, but I said so in my very first post. If someone here has it, please let us know.

And my idea might not be scalable, but neither was their original plan.

I have a boat to build Gonzo.

Very interesting this thread landed here. And even more interesting the original poster removed some specifics after a non-geologist, non-hydrologist, non-engineer, boat builder and nature lover called them out.

OP - you need to remove more details from your post to avoid potential litigation by third parties, if this website is anything it is a place where people get help for problems; it would not be good to reframe it as a place people get damaged. Read the disclaimer at the bottom of the page. Here in the USA, a problem of this size gets gag orders to all involved and it would NEVER end up discussed in a public forum.

This is my last public post on the topic. I would be glad to speak privately to anyone on the matter.
