Yes, from the eyes the Reindeer could be leucistic, but otherwise the animal looks to me like extremely white all over.

And since mother Nature is capable of many in between variants, I don't really know about the Reindeer, but because of the eyes I would guess leucistic indeed.

And then there's always photoshop, to make the picture as wanted, so nothing is sure with many web pics.

The inline linked text was a quote of the header of the article, of which this right side Moose sure looks to be leucistic, and not albino . . .

The article where the pics came from mentions this about Leucism . . .
Maybe this could be regarded as a somewhat sloppy general opinion, and not as something from an scientific article.

    ‘‘ . . . albinism, an umbrella term that covers a variety of genetic pigmentation disorders, . . . ’’

Blackbirds, I would guess even the first video shows a leucistic one, and not an albino, this from the dark eyes and the light orange-yellow beak, the latter also suggests it's a male, since females sport a yellowish-brownish beak. Second vid sure shows a leucistic male, because of the shown black feathers, and for the beak color reasons. (some common blackbird male and female pictures)

Yes, looks like it would be a fascinating place to explore and photograph. I've never been able to get my head around the waste in closed industry, so much abandoned hardware..

Don't be sad. That scrap will be turned into new future antique abandoned machinery.

Hoyt, you can also recycle by giving it a new function . . . .

This harbor crane in Bristol is planned to become a home. It's from a March 10 - 2017 article by Katie, and it was foreseen to be realized in May 2017. So I'll guess the above picture is a photoshop impression of the accomplished project.

The last above picture shows the crane before her conversion, the below pic is a view from the to be converted crane towards a somewhat similar crane along the dockside. It would be nice if they'll keep the rotate function slowly operational, this to provide a constantly changing view for the crane residents . . . :)

Maybe some of the good folks from the vicinity will be so kind to give us an update on her status (this is an invitation to join the thread), or maybe someone wants to dig into the web for the update . . .

Someday the government may have to condemn that harbour crane house so they can replace with a harbour crane.

In that case, they'll just reconvert the house into a crane . . .
