Foiling Windsurfers

Not yet ..Testing again this afternoon if the forecast still is good ..Rear T foil is no in front of rear footstraps to try and give me leverage , once foiling

 

It sounds like the aft foil is doing all the work once you start foiling. Its vertical lift makes you pitch nose-down & its side-force gives you lee helm.

You can try putting the main foils closer to the center of gravity, but they might be too small. Once you're foiling, there probably isn't very much of them left in the water. Smaller incidence might help.

 

Here's another suggestion that might sound counterintuitive: Try to resist the temptation to move your own weight aft. Hydroptere was stable in pitch without depending on the movement of the crew. Moving aft forces the aft foil to provide more lift, when you might actually need it to be lifting down.

Of course, any suggestions here are just guesses. Without photos, it's hard to tell what we're dealing with.
