Hi I run a boat designer office and I have been wondering which society(s) would be beneficial to belong to? Currently I am a member of SNAME and I am very happy with their technical papers etc but as most of their events are in USA and my office in Europe, I am missing out most of the stuff.

What I am looking from a society:
Training events & courses (practical & theoretical) for designers
    Networking events
    Focus on small craft
    Access to some technical papers(?)
    In Europe is a plus
    Good value for money

I have been looking at Imarest and British Marine etc but honestly speaking most of the training courses seem unpractical for a boat designer. Does anybody have any good tips or experience to share?
