Core Sound have a very sweet 20 foot monohull in stitch and glue plywood. Basic unfolding process shown here
Should give you another feel for the build speeds and weight efficiencies possible with pre-cut ply panels.

Call out to the community: has anyone seen a bulkhead tabbing system used for ply construction? The hull panels would have small (quarter inch?) slots on the bulkhead landings thru which the corresponding bulkhead tabs fit to secure and position the parts. The bulkheads are fixed to the keel and first P/S strakes. Following strakes are hung on the tabs and tacked with super glue. So peg and glue rather than stitch and glue.

That makes a very tidy job indeed. Not too many cnc places round my way. Could probably have the panels sent by courier.

On a completely different note. Is it possible to use a beach cat hull, cut it and extend the length/beam/freeboard and take a mould from this plug to make a micro cruising cat. Or would the balance be all wrong?
