Bending moments and shear forces calculating of container ship

    Good day All!

    I need help and step by step manual for calculating Bending moments and shear forces for container vessel.

    I have make in Excel stability program calculation for my vessel including all tanks and bays information. Also You can load EDI BAPLIE file in excel and weight of cargo automatically calculating.

    In stability manual I have table with Max BM and SF for 11 frames. Pls advise how to calculate BM and FS.

    You are assuming, that buoyancy is equally distributed, but this is not true, and it will influence calculations. You need to find buoyancy distribution for given loading conditions, and then you can perform stength calculations. In other words, you need to have displacement distribution for equilibrium state of current loading conditions. Typically, it would be bonjean data for several trims, which you can then interpolate.

    You have asked this question several times, noted here:

    But you have, still, consistently not shown the buoyancy curve. Since as noted by vv3k4i, the two must match. Then your curves will close as noted here.
