One site I looked at for scrap prices made a distinction between soft lead and hard lead. Soft lead was pure, hard lead had impurities of copper, antimony, and arsenic. The prices were 60 cents for hard lead and 90 something for soft lead.

    Hi,

I would suggest reaching out to your local boat building community and see if anybody is interested in purchasing the lead directly from you. Over the past few years we have collected ballast from 3 keels for our boat project. You'll be helping somebody out !

    Cheers,
    Mark
