Panga design / Build opinion wanted

    I got a sore neck from trying to see what the bottom shape aft, really looks like. It ain't easy unless you are right there to look at it, but suffice to say you do not want the lines aft to be rising sharply upwards ahead of the outboard. It is a lot easier to fill-in than hack away, then drop your engine height. Unless the bow submarines running with a chop, it may be the way to go.

    IMG_3389.JPG I'll try to turn the photo.... but that makes sense. The center section of my hull bottom slants up... I wonder if cutting the keel 2-3 feet towards the bow will work, or maybe build an engine bracket that sort of flattens out the water before it gets to the outboard. Something level with the water line. Hmmm.

    To get it past 20 mph is probably a good result. If you are happy with the way it trims, I'd concentrate on engine height and suppression of the fountain by, maybe, a bolt-on plate to the splash plate above the cav plate.
