Colin Skeath and his nephew, Davis Gould-Duff are currently engaged in a round Britain attempt, paddling and sailing a canoe.

They departed from Strontian, where Colin and his wife Katrina live, on 30th April, and have just passed through the Pentland Firth, and are overnighting in Wick.
Katrina took this footage of them from Duncansby Head yesterday, a very small boat in a very big sea:

They should stop rocking after a few days on land. What is it about the Brits that they undertake these types of thing ?

The lads arrived safe home in Strontian this evening, after 86 days and some 2000 miles, through some extremely difficult and exposed waters; Cape Wrath, Pentland Firth, Thames Estuary, Portland Bill, Lands End, across the Irish sea from Holyhead and back to the Mull of Kintyre, up through the Dorus Mor, past the Corryvreckan and the Grey Dogs... in a 16ft canoe. This is thought to be the first circumnavigation of Britain in a canoe.
