    Bagging/Steam Banding Bags. Film

The local box stores, Menards, Home Depot and Lowes all sell 6 mill clear poly film which you can make into any size bags you'll need, A 20 ft. by 100 ft. roll is $72.25 at Lowes. Not cheap but works well. They also sell 6 mill string reinforceed poly for a lot more, about double.

Jamestown Distributers has a good Video by Louis Sauzedde on making steam bending bags from poly film. He uses a heat gun to seal exposed edges of the poly film. Pretty slick...

    TB,
    Here it is.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGjFQjss5bE

It's Louis Sauzette's' "Building the TotalBoat work skiff - Steaming (Episode 26)" He shows the technique at about the 11:40 minute mark in the video.
    Hope this helps,

    phil

You can also take narrower bag material and join it using the same mastic tape you would use to seal the periphery, using a lap joint.

Hoping for a less wasteful method of improving net shape...always wondered if a "seal-a-meal" type join might be accomplished with common poly...or better yet, silicone sheet that could be reused.
