Steve, the 1.3 MPG is right around diesel usage in my boat, at best. We just per her in garage for winter with 1390 NM and 1322 gallons for summer. That is 1.05 NMPG or about 1.2 MPG. But that is for entire year. So there were times when probably getting 1.4 MPG or better at easy cruise

BTW we are planning for an upgraded soft top or possible hard top in near future. I have a neighbor who wants my existing top and curtains for a project boat, but thought I would ask the Harley guys if anybody is interested. Sure would fit better on a Harley. It is bimini plus front curtain, 2 sides curtains, and 3 pc rears. 4 years old, curtins have very little use

Hi Guys,, Hope all had a great Holiday Season!

So Pizza Cutter is going to be shipped to NJ in a couple weeks for a custom Hard-Top-Enclosure structure. We shopped around and chose Steve and Andy from OCEANVIEWMARINEWELDING in NJ. These guys are a class act and do everything from 90' Sportfish down to 20' CC.

As mentioned earlier I gonna sell existing convertibile top/enclosure/arch. It would be great to see it go to a 42' Harley owner for a perfect fit. Make me an offer

Hi Guys,, Hope all is well. Pizza Cutter is in NJ and the Hard Top project is going great. The frame work is done and painted awl-grip white. The hard top is in production and will go on soon. I have some pix that were emailed, but not sure how to post. Will do ASAP

Hey Steve,, I see u have a dingy rack on rear. We are hoping for some time in Bahamas this year, so we want to add a 9' dingy. How big is yours? how does it work for you?

OK so we have stripped all the electronics/antennas from the arch and removed the arch. The boat was shipped to NJ in January across the Cape May/Lewes Ferry. Cost $115 to cross the ferry

Lots of progress on the top and frame. I am very pleased so far

The frame is not powder coated. I chose to have it acid washed-primed-3 coats of awl-grip.. that way I can touch it up if ever scratched or damaged. Nt old arch was coated that way and lasted 30 years +. so I stay with that method. THx for comments. She will be coming home in 2 weeks (I hope)

    Pizza,

Dinghy? It is a 8 or 9 ft Zodiac with a little 3.5 hp 4 stroke Tohatsu. You won't win any races with it, but it is great for getting back and forth to the beach or dock etc. I use a set of Hurley davits, and don't even notice it's back there when under way.

Thx for dingy info steve. We just got a 9.5' Achilles with 5hp Nissan. Will actually get up and plane with 2 people. I saw the Hurley davits and some by Nautley. Either way I am gonna have to extend platform a bit, so am figuring out if that will be in metal or fiberglass.

We mounted the hard top the other day, and have been working on antennas, speakers, etc. this week. I should have back in my shop this coming week, where we can start on the enclosures and some upholstery. I have tuff time with pics but will try to post some soon

steve, thx for info on dingy.. My platform rides pretty low with the weight of the diesels and all, so sort of "elevator" will be needed to bring the davits up higher than the platform, because the platform cannot be raised.

I should have the boat back home in a few days, so I can start to get some ideas.

    Ron Alexander Seattle Vice

Hi guys and gals. I have watched this form religiously ever since we bought our 42' Harley in 2006. Haven't participated much in the forum, but I've been here, listening and learning. Great group of people here and very helpful. Thanks to everyone for that.
Well, mamma wants to move to Arizona :(. Something about it being too cold and wet here in Seattle. So, Seattle Vice is going up for sale. Its a sad moment here and I really hate to see her go but we just don't use her as much as we should. I've done a lot of work to her, including one new port side Arneson ASD8 and newly rebuilt port engine. She's running perfect and ready for a great summer season. PM me if you know someone who might be interested, or if you want any details. I don't want to violate any rules here on the forum.
Maybe it won't sell and I'll be forced to use it all summer. One can only hope. LOL!
