That's according to a new study which says wood is not carbon neutral and emissions from pellets are higher than coal...

Another major problem is that under UN climate rules, emissions from trees are only counted when they are harvested.
However the US, Canada and Russia do not use this method of accounting so if wood pellets are imported from these countries into the EU,
which doesn't count emissions from burning, the carbon simply goes "missing".

I traveled back to Perth from China via Thailand two weeks ago and purchased a 2002 $900 AUD Ford Falcon and placed a large slow cycle battery system with a 600 W inverter to charge my freezer fridge computer and cell phone.
I took the back seats out and placed ply wood to level floor and then placed a large cardboard box where the seat was and stow my luggage next to empty box.
The empty box creates an illusion so it does not look like any one can sleep in car,
I had 3 burglars tried to break in car at 4am two days ago and I open boot and gave them a big fright and scared them away.
I traveled to Geraldton about 450km from Perth to work on a boat for one week and will now focus on posting Kick starter rewards for the next two weeks as I use my car as a mobile office and accommodation.
Geralton is a nice place as there are free hot showers and actually free parking for RVs next to the water front and boat ramps in the main town.
How ever I prefer to camp in remote beaches to be recluse.

 

I can not think of a nicer way to tour, than having a good sleeper car or trailer boat to launch and find quiet places.
I prefer to sleep in a cumfy boat though with cooking gear handy.
Some of the best camping is around shallow waters in Harbors and estuaries and in New Zealand few use these free facilities thank goodness.

 

The main issue with camping on or of water is a comfortable bed and a 600w reliable power system for freezer as I like hot apple with ice cream while camping and computer.
I have attached a picture of an outdated Myark folding self trailer pontoon with a tent placed on top which the tent when pontoon folded is stowed in the hulls along side all other camping equipment like a suit case that is safe from thieves when unattended.
The new Myarks I have designed is suited for the Ford Falcon and miss the fact at the moment the car and I are stuck on land.
My aim for the future especially with climate change and a for certain nuclear war is to able any vehicle to become amphibious and the ultimate ocean river and lake luxury explorer or escape to safety.
Maybe next year I will start manufacturing the new Myark folding trailer pontoons as the Trump time bomb is ticking, which my aim is to keep the cost around $10,000 USD to float a 3500 kg load included with Gr5 titanium torsion suspensions hubs and stubs including a tent.

Geraldton is about 450km north of Perth which is highly suited for boating activity that has many boat ramps which two large ones are in the center of the city but very little boat activity at the ramps.
The launching boat ramp pictured has made 24 hour parking spaces for campers at no cost which this would of been done to attract tourist as Geraldton is of the beaten track.
At the boat ramps are free hot showers which are not used much, then you have all the parks next to the beaches with showers and free electric BBQs.
The many parks on the beach fronts have not many people visit and are empty most times that have shady trees to park under.
