Guy towing 20' cruiser with unicycle

Hi All

Ran across this video of a guy towing a 20' cruiser from his home to the water with a unicycle.

I'd love to see any info or pics on how he built it, the unicycle I mean, or any other links to material on moving boats without a vehicle/trailer.

It isn't really a unicycle, it's a chain drive hooked up to the front wheel of the trailer. My guess is it's just a gear system scavenged from a bike.

 

I thought so too at first, but if you look closely you'll see that there's no trailer, just an axle strapped under the boat and the drive system attached to the bow with nothing running between them.
good system if you want to store the trailer in the boat so you have it on the other side.
