What is that? A quintomaran? O, I see: It features a unique M-Hull, given that name because its hull consist of two M-shaped hulls adjacent to each other. Great...

The theory was that speed would ram enough air under the boat, and be trapped, for dynamic lift to decrease drag, and allow higher speeds in rougher waters. It was a serious sub scale of a much larger design. Unfortunately the sea did not cooperate by supplying sub scale waves, and i believe it was pretty rough. Great crowd on the 'bridge' through. Notice the non-stealthy anchor and windscreen wiper arrangement.

We/i found even a gas turbine exhaust under such a hull really didn't provide enough pressure to lift such a hull. More area, and more thrust drove one here.

This one lifted so poorly that the 'hull' was damaged, needing a complete rebuild. Not a successful design.

A colleague flew helicopter for competitors built in the PNW.

What is that Rurudyne? I can't seem to figure it out as the picture is too small.
