With the ethanol fuel poison currently required by the air police an empty tank when storing is a good idea.

Simplest seems to be to modify the fuel system to allow running out of tank fuel at the end of the season.

The boat is moved into storage with a couple of 6 gal tanks with outboard fittings to operate the main engine(s).

Lazy folks just run the tank fuel down as far as they dare , and rely on a fresh fuel fill when restoring operation.

Life would be loads easier if the Ethanol went with the Do Do bird ,,to extinction.
