    Actually you should consider the weight of the fuel and the person riding it, too. Though it doesn't detract anything from the corectness of your conclusion.
    With the rider weight of 85 kg (187 lb) and 5 litres (1.3 gal) of fuel, you get 0.25 HP/lb for the snowmobile and .17 HP/lb for the jet-ski. So the snowmobile used for comparison had at least 45% better power/weight ratio than the jet ski.
