I have converted some international 14 rudder foils into a surfboard foil with great success, now I am trying to make the whole unit more streamlined to go on a SUP.

previously I cut the ends off the foils and turned them down (1st pic) to stop aeration and improve handling because I built it with dihedral instead of anhedral like everyone else :?: now after being re-built with anhedral the tiplets are almost vertical (2nd pic)

would the tiplets have less drag re-shaped as symmetrical foils or better left as they are? (much the same section shape as at the root)

also the fin/mast/whatever- 110mm chord, 22mm thick- has quite a fat leading edge (no vacuum pump so limited by how tight the fibres would wrap around)
would it benefit from a small 10mmish fairing to make it a bit pointier like the foil LE as it seems the water likes to stick to it and track up the fin while underway

any help would be much appreciated!
