Panel fixings?

    We are product designers with a speciality in architectural hardware. Out of frustration with existing panel fixings for interior panelling in buildings we designed some new ones called Button-fix. I'm always fascinated to see the diverse and unintended uses for them and am curious to know if boat builders would use them in their interiors. If any of you would be willing to take a look and let me know how appropriate they are for boats I'd be very grateful.

    Looks like a great product, I like the on job witnessing of button positioning.

    I don't have any boat related application in mind, but I do make quite a few carved signs, and it'd be cool for that.

    See the test results too: breaking point of the Type 1 is 350kg (770lb), Shear point for Type 1 Bonded is 325kg (715lb) when bonded to galvanised steel using Permabond.
