For the avoidance of doubt I don't subscribe to the cars-can-be-made-to-run-on-water conspiracy. I think it has got whatever legs it has because cars seemed to run slightly better on damp misty mornings. I don't know whether that was a carburettor thing that has been nullified computers/injection or if it still applies to modern cars- can't say I've noticed it lately. I once read something about it enhancing the mass airflow through the engine.

 

I always thought that had to do with the fog/mist changing the octane rating of the gasoline...?

 

I agree with you, could you tell me whether they have only their own people doing new research, or do they buy, like I suspect, as many idea's up from other sources. Then to sell it at ridiculous high license fee's to other interested parties. Is their any solution for the above problem? In this way we will never get a very good idea mass produced for a reasonable cost. Bert
