Watch the weather live on a 3D globe

    Type that into your computer and you get a world map which does wind speed cloud cover rain etc. It is limited slightly in that it does not magnify as much as google earth but I think its great. right now in the English channel the wind is blowing from east to west that's normal. on the section of the channel where I live the wind speed is 2km/hr that is not normal though in the east it is about 14km/hr.
    I don't know how to get on the net from a laptop on a boat but I think it can be done with wifi, giving you cheap very usable weather map. mik:)

    It seems to be a different link to the same satalite with a slight increase in magnification
