temp ground for boat based ham radio operation

    i want to temporarily operate a 5 watt ham radio from a power boat. i will power it using a 120vac 10 amp power supply plugged into the boats generator. i would like to connect the transceiver radio and an antenna tuner to the ground buss of the boat's electrical system. i plan to use an outback vertical antenna connected to the transceiver by 50ohm coax cable. the boat is a 42-foot silverton with a full compliment of electronics (radar, marine radios, fish finders, navigation computers). based on your prior experiences: do i run the risk of interfering with the boat's electronics using this configuration? if so, alternative configuration suggestions would be very much appreciated. cheers, harry (aka KA3NZR)
