    Thanks Hoyt.
Lost my way a bit due to the other boat that I was refurbishing and general lack of interest due to family and work commitments
But am focused again and pushing to get underside done and turned back over .have all wood cut for underside now fare and tape all edges then cover with glass

Don't feel bad about the time it takes. My father in law is still working on a 40 hour boat that he started 30 years ago :)

    Thanks angel

Its amazing how one can loose your way on a project like this .
You need to be in right frame of mind so work and relationship pressures and financial issues all affect the build but we shall prevail

    Cheers

    Hello Colfar,

First of all really nice project, I just read trough whole topic! :D
I was wondering is there any chance that you could send me blueprints for the boat?
I already did like 80% research on this boat and how to build it. I have some blueprints but they are actually really really hard to read. Also do you maybe know how much did all wood cost you, if you dont mind me asking...

    Cheers

    Hi mencista

The only plans I have is the ones I got on boat design and I battled with some of the stuff but what helped me was pictures of other people building the same boat.I have spent roughly 30000ZAR and would say hull is 90% complete. That includes epoxy and fiberglass and all wood. Have not worked on her for close to 6 months have been focusing on my other boat a buccaneer van derstat 24 ft. I finally completed her and she is now at vaaldam but still in trailer hoping to launch easter weekend . you can see her on this forum under my other boat.hoping to start fiberglassing this one in 2 weeks time .

    Cheers all
