    Update photos!!

Finally!! With all the hassles of life and other projects that took precedence, I finally managed to complete my sailboat restoration. It definitely was a learning experience and lets hope it floats now...lol

I think she turned out rather well considering what state she was in when I got her. Not the most quality workmanship I could have managed, but with time and $$ being stretched out through other projects, well, she is what she is.

Now to wait for the lake to thaw and the water to warm up a bit, as I'm sure I'll be in it a few times before I get the hang of this sailing thing...lol

Good for you Tikitack. You have done what many others of us has done, that is restoring a boat that is of questionable sales value but has significant value in terms of satisfaction. Too many times the labor content as compared to ultimate market worth amounts to 39 cents per labor hour or some labor rate in that vicinity. We do it any way because it gives us some kind of sense of achievement.

Thanks! Yes, I believe my rate is at a negative value per hour labor...lol

That's okay though. As long as she floats and I don't crash or drown her in the first season...
