Paint choice for my restoration?

    Here's what I used. Tractor Paint with Hardener. Baically it's Oil Based Acrylic Enamel Paint with hardener. Kinda like Cars of the 60's were Painted with. Painted my 1960 Lonestar with it Yielded a High Gloss Hard as Nails durable finish You can get just about any color you want by custom mixing. As previously stated its ALL about the prep work. If you do that well your finish will be outstanding. My paint job is 3 years old and it still shines like new. Touch ups are easy since I didn't have to use clear coat. I use a PreVal sprayer to do the touch ups when needed. White Hull and Baby Blue topside. Shot it with a $15 dollar Harbor Freight HVLP gun. Total costs for Paint and Primer was less than $100 bucks for a 16 foot boat;)
