We have a couple of moulds for center consoles. If you'd like, we could laminate one for you and ship it. we're in Long Island. I'll get the exact dimensions tomorrow. Either one would be perfect.

Shame on you, decapitating that fine old Bertie:eek: Seriously though, try searching out some boneyards, you may find a good console at a great price. Otherwise, check in with any local boat builders or repair yards/ shops. They usually have a console or two looking for a new home.

This is one in fiberglass that was done and will fit in your hull. I converted a 20' moppie to a center console, and built two of them, and have one leftover.

How tall does it need to be for clearance height the running length of it? I am not sure if you will find any full size ones running the full length of 55 inches that will have full clearance because of the seating configuation. This one has 39 inches, full height, to the offset seating, then another 22 inches to the foward seat front inside for a total of 61 inches. It also has 16 inches in the inside height of the seat area. The front is 32 inches wide, since the console tapers in towards the foward section. The back is 39 inches inside wide inside.

The console is right above your original posting. How far are you from Cranston RI?

There is a small shelf in the steering section that is just tabbed in place, and can be removed for any additional height needed in the rear section. Thats 37 1/2, minimum inside measurement and 39 number along side of the open area. Then the lip is additional width on each side.
