    Hello all,

I am currently studying Marine Technology (Naval Architecture) at Newcastle University. I've done a fair amount of research about internships in the UK. I'm currently in my second year and seeking some work to exercise my skills before graduation in two years. Would anyone happen to know of smaller companies looking for a helping hand over summer 2016? I don't mind working for a stipend as long as I can get some work experience under my belt. I would be interested in anything from ships, offshore structures, boats and yachts. I've already made applications to the bigger players like LLoyds, DNV, BP etc; but would really like to work for a smaller organisation at this point to be able to understand the structure of a smaller company. Any advice or pointers are welcome! Looking mostly for roles around the UK, perhaps outside as well if the whole work permit scenario isn't too complicated for an internship.
