Re post-Marsh Duck designs: I designed and built 19' tri Sealark last winter/spring, and had problems during sea trials. I've taken a break from most boating stuff. I continue to think about both smaller mono-hull (mini-Marsh Duck) and smaller tri (16' solo micro-cruiser), as well as possible modifications to Sealark. We'll see . . .

I just found his site. Once again you are a step ahead Scott, I have been meaning to start my own wordpress site!

I have been thinking that human/environment powered boats are the perfect STEM learning projects -applying knowledge to produce true zero emission transportation through natural (zero infrastructure) environment.

Scott, I presume you learned wordpress specifically to present your projects -what resources did you find most usefull?

Yes, my blog www.scotdomergueblog.wordpress.com is the place to see what I've been doing with the tri. Click on category "Sealark". You can also see a picture on my facebook page.

Keeping my footprint small (zero emission, etc.) is a motivation for my boat design/build efforts, but I must acknowledge that I use a fair amount of fiberglass, epoxy, and complex chemical finishes, etc. It's not totally benign. But then, what is?

I started the blog on wordpress when I was building the Marsh Duck. That's a number of years ago, and I don't remember much about it. Some things have changed with wordpress, and I haven't kept up . . . If I knew how, I'd change the post that shows when you first go there, but I haven't figured out how to do that.
