engine foundation

    Good day
    I want to know any body here encountering a calculation formula for engine foundation Scantling??

    Yes, of course. See my application SCT.
    There is no formula. You must calculate the loads applied by the engine and gearbox on the fundation and calculate it as a beam subject to those charges.

    So there is no international rules or regulation? I checked some DNV documents but I could not find anything.

    I do not think there is a specific formula for this case. As in many other cases, you need to make a direct calculation, using the maximum permissible stresses required by the CS with which you are working.
