"Picnic Boat" Hull shapes

    I liked seing the rendering, Will, and I like the design. I think following Harry Schoell's methodology would allow you to achieve a nice shape while removing the rocker, though, and I agree with Tad that I'd like to see more curvature in section around stations 2&3 (which would result from developing the forward part of the bottom conically if the apex of the ruling lines is located forward such that the one that forms the forward edge of the monohedron approximates the stagnation line at the boat's top speed).

    Harry Schoell's recent jet boat, the Alsberg 16, is worthy of study in my opinion.
