My brother just bought this in Australia.

He didn't know what make it was, I suggested it's a Bertram (18ft), possibly a Caribbean.

    Your thoughts please people.

No, neither of those, imo. It would be 60's vintage by the looks. Is there no plate of any kind on it ?

It is a penguin huntress. Built in gosnels perth. Excellent boats . Its little brother the penguin phantom almost has a cult following in w.a.

Well spotted WP23, I doubt anyone else could have identified it for him in this forum. Seems to be a few on Gumtree.

    Hey thanks guys.

Apparently my bro' couldn't find an ID tag, or hasn't looked. (I actually havn't asked him if he did).
He simply told me there's no brand name on the rego papers.

...& yes, my brother is south of Perth, so no surprise to see that boat there.

I did a quick google image search last night & found a couple on gumtree with the same window design. They were labelled as Bertrams.

More a moderate vee boat by the look of it.

Good sea boats. There were quite a few in albany where I used to live. I think just about all of those type boats in the seventies were based on Raymond hunts designs .
