What Would Be The Scale Factor When Working In Meters To Scale A Drawing From A 1:5 Scale To 1:20 Scale.

yeah i thought that would make since before i posted the thread but i am in auto cad and my boat is 10 meters long on lwl and when i bring the generator file from northern lights over it is huge. and is on a 1:5 scale that is why i seem to be having some difficulty scaling in down to fit my drawing.

sorry i wasn't as clear before on what the issue actually was

Most metric CAD drawings are not drawn in scale but in full size in meters or mm. The drawing is then scaled for plotting.

Edit: I looked, it is indeed full size in m.m.
I sometimes have that the other way round.:)
