Best budget topside paint

    Yeah. I thought about it quite a bit and figured the cheap stuff is only saving maybe $40/gal, so the total difference in paint cost would be maybe $100-120. It's such a small amount of the cost of the project that I just went for the better paint. It sprays nicely, easy to work with, and it super hard when it cures.

    right, I'm a cheapskate by nature, but in old age I'm learning that cost of materials is a small part of total cost, and cost of hauling/redoing work too soon is expensive, in all sorts of ways :)

    "I'm am not so wealthy that I can afford to buy cheap tools."

    Now I am that old guy.

    Jamie, we're now of the age whereas any job or build that out live us, before needing to be redone again is a good repair.
