Sailed Sid today and tried out again the new and beautiful North reacher with different sheeting positions and also tried to go upwind as high as possible with it. Result: can't go that high but still impressive. Took camera but ... batteries were dead. Sorry.

Lol, Warwick. thanks. Until recently I've been putting 2 mooring lines on Sid ... but then I stopped. Bowlines shouldn't undo? Mistake. I know better. You've probably read my facebook stuff about rowing up to Soldiers Bay to get Sid, tied with many ropes by Harbour board to the mooring mid-channel, Sid lying way over looking like a derelict, port float submarined with 3 compartments h2o filled. In a day of mistakes one plus was that I had underwater 2 part epoxy (Emerkit) cement on board which, after towing Sid ashore nearby (not easy with fresh wind and very heavy float) and baling out, fixed the long split in the float so I could get home.

I bet you it was a big surprise to find sid awol. I think like everyone here would have liked to know of Sids fate, when you found sid to be missing.
