Painting Cypress

    I would go clear epoxy with this kind of boat. Thanks for posting pictures.
    This one is easy to seal all the way. I wouldn't go as far as calling it saturation and epoxy saturated wooden construction is a whole other beast. Very good, but needs to be done during construction in between thin veneers.

    "Saturate" with 3 coats of clear epoxy before paint. You will have a boat that will outlast your grandchildren with proper maintenance.

    I got mine from a Lumber Co. in Milton Fl. about 60 miles from Mobile,Al......Wilson Lumber Co. Great people to do business with! They cut and dry the Cypress on site!....

    I am using Jack Tar enamel.....! Old line boat paint(wood boat)
