Foil Stabilised Trimaran ??????

Anyone know anything about the history, background, contacts for this trimaran moored just outside the Napa Valley marina??

It has all the appearance of a pretty old boat, like 20+ years. Either that or it was just very poorly maintained.
So, considering its apparent age, I don't think it is a foil-stabilized tri but rather one of many offsprings or variations of the wing keel of the Australia II sailboat (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australia_II , http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winged_keel).
I guess it is a fixed keel, in which case those winglets are probably a way to increase the hydrodynamic efficiency of the keel while keeping the draft as shoal as possible.

That is no old fashioned dunga with a long keel? But one of the French (albeit a couple or more decades old now) alloy constructed foilers designed by Sylvestre Langevin.
