Thanks for posting that, very interesting video.

unfortunately you have resize the photo's on something like photobucket, it's free to store your stuff on.

Just click on edit, then resize, then reduce by 50%.......

Thanks, yeah - its not my image, so I'm reluctant to download and resize - trying to be good as regards copyright - linking to the image should be ok copyrightwise. It would be great if you could drop in a bit of code that reduced the image size by a %age of the linked original...

As far as I know, displaying a copy on a forum for 'no personal gain' is allowed, the worst that could happen is for the owner to ask you to take it down.

Beautiful boat but bad photo. Length aprox. 80 - 100 feet. It has really nice polished brass parts and everything! Spotted in Cannes, France.

If the rain keeps coming I might hang an outboard off one end of the house just as a bit of visual comedy....

    Pretty Trawler Yacht

This was an interesting looking design I saw in the Annapolis, MD area when I lived there. I don't have the original (non-digital) photos I took of her, but I did go aboard for a look around. She was built of ferro-cement.

A friend and I referred to this vessel as a 'pocket superyacht' (sort of like the pocket battleship nomenclature). I always thought it was a particularly nice looking power yacht. Hard to tell from this angle, but she had a 'fantale stern'.

I am a bit biased, this one being of my own but I kind of like the look. She is aluminium, all developable panels except for the foredeck and pilothouse roof which take a bit of "torturing". I tried for a retro-modern look. Single 370hp Volvo stern leg takes her up to mid thirties but she's happy cruising along at twenty pretty economically.

Sweet! 33knots on 2200hp doesn't sound too fast but I'm guessing its built for comfort, not speed.

BTW, what is the functionally of the mast and boom, and whatever is hanging under the boom? Surely not a "get home sail". Awning? Is the boom on the mast for easy transfer of cargo, particularly big fancy catered dinners, etc?
