Grey Ghost, the plates in the area of the bulb of a ship, which seems quite large, can be 15 mm thick or greater. This must be taken into account first. On the other hand, make a plate with double curvature radius so small, is not easy. It is quite possible that that make them creating a "bed", performing various templates, and taking them to their shape by applying heat. There is danger, too, to burn the plates.
I know that almost anything can be done, but when projecting a boat, and things can be changed without any cost, what reason we have to make things so complicated ?.
    I hope now you're a little agree.

Do you have another way to show this? I don't have Rhino. Maybe a jpeg?

I know you say you're done but what is with this everyone needing to agree with you? A sailboat made of worked plate (round bilges) is a complicated thing and one could say that it is unnecessary considering that one can approximate performance in a hard chined version. So what? People are still going to take the time to form plates then bondo over them until the end of time. So what is your point exactly?
Here is a good example of craftsmanship. A yard that took the time to beautifully fair a bulbous bow on one of their boats when they could have just jammed a propane cylinder on her! There was absolutely no need, structurally or otherwise, to do this other than esthetics.

Thank you, then it looks like bhnautika took your file and did what you were asking for? I'm interested, I don't use Rhino but ProSurf. Is this a potential build or are you, like I'm wont to do, 'playing around'?

It is a very common retro here in the Pacific Northwest to stab a propane tank on the bow of older boats and the intersection between the hull with a cylinder is 'hard' as your model shows and it works just fine. Usually, there isn't even much internal structure, just a tank. Anyway, I'm curious as to you wanting the smooth transition: esthetics or program learning curve to surmount?
