    Now I know why I could not catch you , you crafty Devil ... Damn laws of physics !!!

    Throw a big Deep cycle battery and trolling motor up front

    or ... Throw a "foil" on her ...

    Hoyt, she skoots right along, and you are right she is bow high and pushing water. This is preventing her from getting up on a proper plane. Either a bit of weight up front or re set your motor tilt. Move it in one more notch and give her a trial run but don't forget to re set if taking the Missus aboard. Bet once you get her levelled out on a plane you get an extra knot or two. Looking Good-- Geo.

    Thanks, Noeettica for posting the video. Thanks, viking north for the advice on the trim. I am adding another seat of forward so Mrs. will be more comfortable while trimming the boat.

    I thought I used the Latin for "forked stern" but any interpretation is okay as long as it is funny. :p

    I guess loosely translated you could say it was a "split-tail" but that would more accurately be cauda furcatis.

    Try Double Tail = Cauda duplex, or Fork in the road = Furca in via. :rolleyes:
