The after cabin is huge and i find this only in 42 feet boats..

Gonzo, The boat is built with liners where half and bottom of the furniture is already positioned at the sites. therefore the furniture that need to be assembled easily go down the stairs and door of the cabins where to be fitted.

    Why ship to Fl ?

The manufacturer is building them in Brazil to leverage labour costs.

OK, if you're doing ALL the work yourself, it really doesn't matter, but I'd be inclined to save the 20K shipping and put that towards fitting the capital items - the running gear, tanks, hatches, windows and navionics actually IN the boat, then sail (motor) up on her own bottom. The factory 'should' have patterns, frames and jigs to speed that process up too.
It will help you to get to know your boat before finalising some of details.

Also much of the tropical hardwood used to create the interior detail comes from that part of the world, just ensure it is from a sustainable source!

I am a little leary about their website - only seems to have details for the one boat? I am also concerned that you are asking for build schedule details here - I would have thought the builder would be in the best position to supply a sample project/labour/costings plan...

Did you tour their factory - meeting the crew will tell you much more than the slick salesman...

Keep asking questions - as Douglas Adams showed, having the right answer without knowing the question is more confusing than having neither.

    Because I'm in FL.

They told me that the moment is good for export because of currency devaluation.

I will finish assembling the boat alone and will hire people to some specific areas that I do not dominate.

The kit I bought only comes the part of fiber, has no wood interior.

They provided me with all lists and description of equipment should I buy and also the carpentry projects, electrical, hydraulic etc ..

They told me they do not have boat cost spreadsheet finalized in the USA because the values are different from Brazil.

The website has little information about the boats they produce, but said they are making a new website with more information.

I came to ask the questions here in the forum to get a cost estimate for construction of a boat in the range of 38/40 feet.

I visited the factory when I was in Brazil and they had 10 boats in production. Organized factory, they have even a swimming pool tests for the boats before delivery to the customer, very interesting.

Have you any idea of import duties and taxes into the US?

A few years ago Brazil and the US had an import tax battle going on,was 75% on boats..I don't know if it was resolved or still exists.
