Anybody have a suggestion for a bilge paint/coating

    that will adhere to poly, epoxy, gelcoat, wood and metals, with reasonable abrasion resistance? The application is for enclosed engine bay.

    You may need to use a different primer for different metals and substrates, I doubt there is a single paint that can be used direct to all of them, with ideal results.

    Aluminum paint has been one of the standard paints for bilges. It is an alkyd enamel with a aluminum pigment.

    Always liked Danboline by International. Good coverage and wears well. Whatever you choose, good preparation and follow manufacturer's instructions is key.

    Rubberized undercoating?? Hmmm didn't think of that. A full resperator and suit might be needed in the enclosed space. Now that I'm thinking, bedliner maybe a choice as well.
