I've looked over (maybe, not that deep), but could not see an example of a simple and light el. installation for a basic close to shore racer/weekender.
Like, Nav lights, one/two salon lights all from a removable Li- battery, that could be easily removed and taken home for charging. The one that could work for say, 12-24 hours top, for an weekend, or a day of racing and a trip home?
No radar, no plotter, no radio, since the outboard motor could not charge anyway.
And weight is an issue, so the move from a lead battery should justify the price difference.

    Thanks

    Yeaa,
looks nice, but it is a SLA, at 13 lb...
Supposedly, Lithium-... whatever should be at least half the weight?

My knowledge on the matter is quite limited. (I probably, could spend some time reading the specs, calculating the amps, etc).
Somehow, my expectation is, I am not the only one with this perception of the need vs price, and would appreciate some advice and/or shared experience?
