I have started a website for unique one-off boats. (www.freakboat.com) As you can see from the site the emphasis will be on unique work boats. The sites success will depend on viewer submissions. I would love to collected interesting work boats and live-aboards from around the world. Some examples might include New England clam digger boats, Haitian work slopes, old research vessels converted into live-aboards etc. Please check out my site (www.freakboat.com) and Submit a boat. Thanks!

Nice site! I've got a buddy that's got a doozie that probably belongs on there. I'll let him know. That Sanford & Son one was hilarious.

This is a old proto type Myark folding trailer barge I designed and fabricated 17 years ago with some pictures showing some uses.
In folded in self trailer form is 10.m long X 1.m wide, weighs including self trailer 2000 kg, unfolded it is 4.8 wide and can float loads over 12000 kg.

The new model Myark self trailer barges will come up to 12.m long X 6.m wide that fold that are legally towed on road , ideal for mobile homes, house trucks etc.

This a picture of my dog Flash and I when manufacturing the proto type Myark folding trailer barge.
The folding mechanism worked well and is easily unfolded manually with a 5X1 boat winch.

This youtube movie made with Flash and I is to give and idea why I invented the Myark folding trailer barges "Freedom"

I have some photos of some Christmas party trips in that fascinating area and was woken up at all hours with boats in the dark of night. There is a lot of competition there at times.

I lived in one of he duck shooting huts for a while and placed my car on the Myark folding trailer barge and parked car out side the hut, the Myark made a great jetty that I would practice martial arts and yoga in recluse besides my dog Fash.
The pictures show when I hired Myark folding trailer barges to film industries such as Xenia and Hercules.
One pictures shows the smaller Myark trailer barge that has the plug in removable torsions suspension over loaded with actors.

One time when following Hercules in a canoe with the large Myark folding trailer barge who Hercules is chased by cannibals in their canoes, I would run over the cannibals boats if hey got in the way, because the filming must go on.

It was good fun and heaps of laughs.

On this delta river I would also live in a caravan on top of the barge and still have my car alongside to have transport were ever I wanted to land, some times I would take the caravan of the Myark folding trailer barge and place on a remote island on the river.
The picture of the Myark folding trailer barge with my dog Flash on board has a 60hp mariner outboard that would reach a speed over 30kmh.
