I know, I asked for it.......

this is not my boat but I am thinking of making a power catamaran for a fishing, hoop netting, at about 18 to 20 foot.

here are some pic's that I have come across, witch I am using to come up with my build plan, but thought that since a lot of you have experience in this field, I would apreshate any and all advice, and really looking for some do's and don'ts.

this will be my secant boat that I have built and one complete rebuild.

I am trying to go into this one with a better game plan to start with and was looking for some advice on what has worked for you and what has not worked for you.

    Thank you for your time,
    odp

Just another design to add to your collection, I've never built anything like this, but it looks like a fun project. One of these little intruder 21 flats boat crossed the Atlantic. Apparently they can run in very shallow water too.
    Good luck!

You need to specify the "theatre of operations".

that would be a great boat, if I was only going in fresh water.

but I need it to cut better like this one,http://youtu.be/MA4XnO97MVY

I dont want the cabin part, I am only going to have a pilot house, It needs to be open for fishing and crabbing

I live in Southern Cal and I do have a house boat, so It will go to the river and the lakes.
but it will mostly be used in the ocean

I am looking to keep it light and small motors
